In 1977 he became the Store Director of the very first Sainsbury’s SavaCentre hypermarket in Washington. From 1979 – 1983 he was managing large hypermarkets in Germany. In 1983 he was appointed the Managing Director of Knauber, which was recognized by the Home Channel News USA as one of the best world stores. In 2001 he was appointed as President of the EXPO Design Center West Coast, USA. Since 2004 he holds current position at EDRA - an independent association with members from 18 countries and operating in 38 countries.
